About Me

Hello! I am a PhD student in the Biology department at Temple University and part of the Hedges Lab in the Biodiversity Center. I currently am studying the evolution of prokaryotes using various genomics methods. I’m interested in how prokaryotes diversifying and how that has impacted life on earth. I also help mentor undergraduates and collect/analyze data for TimeTree.org.

When I am not busy with courses or research, I am a game artist with the goal of making exciting science-related gameplay mechanics. I hope to encourage others, especially kids, to appreciate and respect our natural world. I want to create games that excite others about science, and make my passion for nature contagious.
